Welcome to Legacy Basketball Club

Thanks for joining the Legacy family. Here's everything you need to know to get started.

How We Train

At Legacy Basketball, we strive to create the perfect balance of individual skill development combined with an excellence-driven, team-first mentality.

Individual Skill Development

"Build the foundation. Then pressure-test it."

We begin with the details. Footwork, ball handling, finishing, shooting mechanics, balance, and coordination are developed with precision and structure. Players learn proper timing, spacing, and movement patterns so their fundamentals are efficient and repeatable.

The early stages of building this foundation may feel repetitive — even tedious. That's by design. The players who commit to mastering the basics are the ones who develop skills that hold up under pressure and stand out in competition. There are no shortcuts to a strong foundation, and everything we build sits on top of it.

Once the foundation is established, we progressively increase the demands. Skills are trained under pressure, with reaction and decision-making layered in. This ensures that improvements transfer beyond drills and into real competition. The goal is not just technical improvement, but reliable execution when it matters.

Team Performance & Decision-Making

"Five players, one purpose."

Basketball success depends on more than individual ability. Players must understand spacing, timing, defensive reads, and how to operate within a team structure. We use small-sided games and guided constraints to create environments where players are required to think, communicate, and make decisions in real time.

Our focus is teaching players how to use their teammates to create and maintain advantages. Whether it's creating space, forcing rotations, or recognizing mismatches, athletes learn how individual actions connect to collective success. When five players move with shared purpose, advantages are created, sustained, and converted.
